Burbank Edible Forest Garden

A Suburban Reformation

Green Abundance came to a neglected landscape that was overgrown with asiatic bittersweet and other invasive weeds. Over the course of a season we transformed the landscape into a model of ecological landscaping. To achieve the goals for our client we implented the following features into the landscape.

• Native plant focused planting

• Focus on perennial edible plants

• Suburban Meadow gardens to support pollinators

• Passive rainwater systems to help maximize the landscape’s retention of water during rain events
