Water is Life
Green Abundance sees our landscapes as a great resource in the conservation of our most precious resource. Through design, we can not only capture rain, but clean it, water our plants, and reduce the burden that is placed on municipal storm water management systems. This removes irrigation for established gardens and helps keep run off from our waterways.
While we encourage anyone to use rain barrels and storage tanks, we believe there is a greater impact to be gained from storing that water in the landscape. More water can be placed right were it is needed most, in the soil.
The videos below discuss water harvesting projects that were installed in our gardens. They provide detailed walk throughs of the design and function of these systems.
